Amakshi is operated by Indesign Industries Private Limited, F206, Sitapura Industrial Area, Jaipur 302022, Rajasthan, India (“we”, “us”, “Amakshi”). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use amakshi.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and the details of what you ordered. If you pay online, your payment is processed by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card, UPI or bank details.
When you contact us: whatever you send us by email or WhatsApp, including your phone number and the contents of your message.
When you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Measurement and advertising: we use the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API to understand which of our advertisements lead to visits and purchases. This means Meta receives information about your activity on our site, including pages viewed and purchases made. We also use Shopify's own analytics. You can control how Meta uses this data in your Meta account settings and through your browser's cookie controls.
Why we collect it
To take, make, and deliver your order. To contact you about that order — including the WhatsApp message we send to confirm your size and address before we cut your garment. To handle exchanges. To meet our tax and accounting obligations. To improve the site. And to measure and target our advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, with:
- Shopify — our e-commerce and checkout platform
- Our payment gateway — to process payments
- Shiprocket and our delivery partners — to deliver your order and, for COD, to collect payment
- Meta — for advertising measurement, as described above
- Our own factory teams in Jaipur — to make and dispatch your order
- Government authorities — where we are legally required to
We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your bag working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for as long as required under Indian tax and company law. Other data we keep only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected.
Your rights
